Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the steel manufacturing process for S&P Associates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel production knowledge, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee daily production activities.
  • Assist the Production Managers in the day-to-day running of the production in all departments – Flashings, Punch & Press, Fabrication, and liaise with the Transport Department.
  • Supervise production staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning.
  • Train new employees on production procedures and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a production supervisory role within the steel industry would be ideal.
  • Knowledge of press brakes, guillotines, and welding required but not essential.
  • Strong production knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Proficiency in basic maths for inventory management and production tracking.

Working Conditions

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
