Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for amotivated and focused Service Manager to join the Specialist Medicine Directorate within theMedicine and Emergency Care Division at Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. This will be a fixed term contract for 8 months.

Main duties of the job

As a Service Manager within the Directorate, you will provide operational and strategic support with a high focus on the Cardiology service. You will work closely with the Specialist Medicine management to achieve activitytargets against national requirements, as well as supporting the delivery of new challenges. You will be involved in financial performance and service improvement plans across the Directorate and work closely with Medical and Nursing colleagues to promote high quality patient experience throughout.

As a highly motivated manager with experience, you will need to display strong leadership qualities and have a proven track record of delivering high performance across the areas you have managed.

Ability to lead the development, implementation and delivery of systematic projects.
