A fantastic opportunity has opened up for an Operations Manager to join the team at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust. You will be in charge of leading, motivating, and managing the efficient delivery of Patient Catering Services, Retail Outlets, and Hospitality/Vending Functions to patients, staff, and visitors. Your role will involve ensuring high-quality services, collaborating with various teams, and managing budgets effectively.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver managerial control of Catering, Vending & Hospitality services
- Manage staff, uphold quality standards, and ensure compliance with regulations
- Liaise with authorities to maintain 5-star Food Hygiene status
- Provide oversight on financial activities and equipment maintenance
- Ensure proper stock control systems and adherence to food preparation legislation
- Deliver quality services and promptly address any shortcomings
- Manage HR processes, contracts, and health and safety programs
- Participate in decision-making and support policy implementation
- Collaborate with local suppliers and support the community
- Offer assistance during critical service times and unexpected absences
- Implement work schedules and manage staff resources efficiently

Essential
- City and Guilds 706 1 and 2 708 or NVQ equivalent
- RIPHH Diploma or equivalent qualification

- Master's in finance or relevant experience with high-value budgets

- IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications
