Support Worker

To provide practical and emotional support to client groups who experience severe difficulties in day to day living, whilst protecting their rights as individuals.

We cover Mental health, Learning disabilities, Dual diagnosis, Dementia, Autism and Older service users.


The role is to Identify and offer support required with independent living skills and introducing the service user to leisure activities and new interests in order to improve their quality of life.

Signposting to other relevant services that will also benefit and compliment support.
No personal care involved.

Support does not take place in a residential setting. Support to take place within the community or home.

Maintain records of work undertaken with service users, daily reporting and working closely with line manager. Attend regular review meetings and supervisions.

To liaise with service users and other professionals regarding progress and development during their support. To support individuals in making their views known, including advocating on their behalf.

Training will be provided but a level three in health and social care would be an advantage.

A valid UK driving licence is required due to working in different locations.

An enhanced DBS will be required for the role

£10.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Before a session commences, Staff are required to contact service users to ascertain if they have any symptoms. Staff have thermometers to check Service users temperatures before starting work and wear PPE. We provide face masks and hand sanitisers.
