Job description

We have a great opportunity to join our Education team as an Administration Coordinator for Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Hull, offered on a permanent, part-time basis working 20.5 hrs per week.

What the role entails


As an Administration Coordinator you will support the Business Manager daily and coordinate the day to day running of the administration team.

You will also work closely with partner agencies, teaching staff and Managers daily by providing an effective administration service that supports contract monitoring, contract compliance and general office management.

The role will also include processing relevant data relating to finance, personnel or learners and ensuring records are kept up to date.


What we need from you
In order to be successful in the role of Administration Coordinator, you will need:

  • Experience of efficient administration within a busy office environment
  • Experience of maintaining accurate electronic and paperbased data recording systems
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office
  • Good Literacy and Numeracy skills
  • To ensure data and reports are accurate and produced in line with deadlines
  • Documents are accurate and formatted as required
  • Positive working relationships with stakeholders
  • To be able to work collaboratively and autonomously
  • Good communication skills
