Service Care Solutions are looking for a Mental Health Support worker to join a secure hospital in Gosforth and the surrounding areas

Daily Duties:


This hospital has low to medium secure wards which provides care for residents that have been diagnosed with mental illness and personality disorders.


Your main day to day duties will include:

  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment
  • Making observations to ensure resident and staff safety.
  • Assist with medical & welfare needs
  • Escorting residents to any hospital appointments they may have.

Shift times:

07:00 - 20:00 or 20:00 - 07:00

Pay Rates:

  • Days £12ph (Ltd)
  • Nights/Saturdays £15ph (Ltd)
  • Sundays £18ph (Ltd)
  • Bank Holiday £22ph (Ltd)

Person Specification:

  • Have experience within a care environment.
  • Must hold an enhanced DBS Check or be willing to process one
  • Must have up to date mandatory trainings or be willing to achieve.
