Senior New Business Sales Manager

We are currently looking for a dedicated New Business/New Logo Sales Professional to join our Futures Business Unit. If you have experience in acquiring New Logos within sectors such as Industrial manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Manufacturing, the Rail Industry, Media, Aggrotech, or Information technology, we want to connect with you.

The ideal candidate will excel in presenting our existing value propositions to these sectors with creativity and efficiency.

Job Purpose & Key Responsibilities

  • Development, implementation, and execution of sales growth strategies through direct and partner sales campaigns
  • Identifying, building, and effectively managing key clients to maximize revenue and customer value
  • Aligning sales and internal innovation roadmaps with customer priorities
  • Managing direct and partner sales/bids/quotes in line with company governance processes
  • Influencing client and partner requirements and expectations
  • Leading bids and engineering pre-sales teams to secure new business
  • Achieving/exceeding order and revenue targets
  • Pipeline management, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Providing market intelligence to contribute to the Roke CRM ecosystem
  • Contributing to the development of the Futures business unit strategy
  • Collaborating with marketing on lead generation and brand awareness
  • Developing client propositions to meet market needs

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in direct sales of research and development activities, technical solutions, and products
  • Proficiency in solution selling methodologies
  • Building strong client relationships at senior levels with detailed account development strategies
  • Understanding of Autonomy, AI/ML, data science, and sensing technology
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with expertise in direct and partner sales strategies
  • Ability to provide innovative solutions to business challenges
  • Proven track record in qualifying opportunities and winning bids
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Effective in local and remote team leadership
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel
