The Main Purpose of the Role

  • Assisting the wider workforce with basic HR and Employment Law Advice.
  • Support the HR and team by providing a highly efficient and organised administrative support service.
  • Assist with monthly payroll, liaising with our payroll department and ensuring information is communicated timely and accurately.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Assist the HR Manager with HR projects as and when required.
  • Supporting all elements of HR, including discipline, grievance and absence.
  • Support the onboarding process for all new employees.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working in a busy HR department (Essential)
  • Basic Knowledge of Employment Law (Essential)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A can do attitude
  • Must be approachable, confidential, and adaptable to change in a fast paced environment
  • Personal resilience
  • Computer literate
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the business

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
Up to £27,000.00 per year
