We are looking for an Actuarial Specialist to join our Actuarial Policy Team

About the role:

Joining our Actuarial Policy Team means collaborating with a group of skilled actuaries to achieve our goals outlined in our annual strategy and plan. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing technical actuarial standards and pension disclosures in the UK
  • Contributing to the transformation programme regarding actuarial regulations
  • Providing actuarial expertise to support the organization

This position does not involve direct people management.

What we're looking for:

  • A qualified actuary with experience in Pensions or Life Insurance, or someone with a background as a practitioner/actuarial analyst
  • Previous engagement in consulting, in-house, or regulatory roles
  • Hands-on experience in actuarial work
  • Familiarity with the standards and guidance from the IFoA for its members
