Job Description: We are in search of an enthusiastic Plant Nursery Supervisor for our Beccles branch. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience in a plant nursery or garden center and must resonate with our core principles:
- Passion for Plants and Horticulture: It's crucial to genuinely adore gardening and houseplants. If you're not passionate about gardening and houseplants, then this role is not the right fit for you.
- Customer Experience: Provide exceptional customer service, curate and upkeep beautiful plant displays and gardens, and offer precise and beneficial advice to our clientele.
- Productivity: Demonstrate speed, efficiency, and dedication to completing tasks promptly.
- Stewardship: Take responsibility and show pride in preserving specific areas of the nursery, guaranteeing the well-being and energy of our plants.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursery.
- Oversee a small team of nursery staff, ensuring efficiency and compliance with our high expectations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in a plant nursery or garden center.
- Solid understanding of plants and horticulture with proven expertise in plantsmanship.
- Outstanding customer service abilities with an emphasis on delivering a positive shopping experience.
- Capability to work effectively and productively in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong sense of accountability and duty, along with the capacity to preserve designated nursery areas independently.
