Moulding Technician

Technique Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking a skilled Moulding Technician to join our client's team in Beccles. As a key member of the moulding plant, you will provide technical support to the Shift Supervisor to ensure efficient and effective production.
Key Responsibilities- Perform tool changing, colour changing, and insert changing tasks to maintain production efficiency.
- Service and prepare tooling for production, ensuring high-quality results.
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on machinery and multi-cavity tooling.
- Carry out quality checks and basic servicing of all machinery.
- Ensure the department is safe, tidy, and clean during and after each shift.
- Administer and report on production activities as necessary.
- Comply with quality standards and company procedures, particularly in regards to Health and Safety, Quality, and Environment.
- Technical qualification, ideally minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, with proven work experience in a mechanical or automotive discipline.
- Production experience, setting various machines and tooling.
- Clear and proven competence in working in an engineering environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, at all levels within the company and with customers.
- Ability to work as part of a team to achieve team objectives.
- Capacity to respond positively to changing work demands.
- Decisive action to address and react to opportunities and problems in day-to-day work.
- Conscientious and thorough approach to work responsibilities, with a professional attitude.
- Logical and methodical approach to problem-solving and fault-finding.
- Ability to listen and take up new skills.
- Desire to provide excellent service, recognizing the importance of customer satisfaction in own work.
- Ability to follow instructions and ensure work is completed as required.
