Head Grower
At Urban Jungle, the beating heart of our lush nurseries is in our own backyard. Specifically, at our Beccles site, where we nurture tens of thousands of plants, cultivating a diverse range of perennials, ferns, grasses, Cannas, Gingers, bamboo, trees and shrubs. This thriving propagation site is not just a facility; it's a testament to our dedication to quality, sustainability, and an unparalleled diversity of plants.
Our approach to plant cultivation is a blend of science and art. We start many plants from seeds, cuttings, and divisions from our display gardens, ensuring each plant is true to type and healthy. Through giving each plant the care and attention it requires we are confident that any plant that leaves us will go on to thrive in its new home. We also carefully source and grow young plants, ensuring a diverse and robust collection for our nurseries.
As we continue to grow, we're excited to announce an opportunity that could be the dream of any plant enthusiast. We are bidding farewell to our current Head Grower, who is embarking on an international horticultural adventure. This opens up an incredible opportunity for a new Head Grower to join the Urban Jungle family at the beginning of March.
