People Advisor

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The People Advisor will
deliver a proactive and flexible HR service to our offices (UK & International).

They will work with the wider People Team to
deliver a first class HR service across Croud Inc and acquired companies.

This is an excellent opportunity for a People/ HR professional to work within a forward thinking, fun and passionate business and hone their craft.

You will have
previously worked as a People Advisor (or similar).


Croud operates a
hybrid working model with a
minimum of 3 days a week based in our
Shrewsbury office and the remaining days from home if you wish.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the day to day HR activity with a firm handle and understanding of HR processes, responding to employees in a timely and approachable manner
  • Manage low level employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy, escalating where necessary to appropriate member of the People Team
  • Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and knowledge and share best practice with them
  • Be the first line of support in performance management and coaching managers on the appropriate steps to take
  • Advise managers on HR policy and procedures
  • Manage all maternity, paternity and shared parental leave requests
  • Work with the Senior People Partners to ensure that all policies and procedures are kept up to date with information and legislation changes
  • Participate in the implementation of specific projects, initiatives, procedures and guidelines, owning projects where appropriate
  • Produce reports and key metrics to drive and support business decisions and support the Senior team
  • Other ad hoc tasks as commensurate with your role

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • CIPD Level 3 or equivalent
  • Proven track record as a HR generalist
  • Recruitment and selection experience
  • Proficient HRIS Systems user
  • Good understanding of Employment Law
  • Excellent IT skills competency in Powerpoint, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Resilient
  • Data Driven with demonstrable experience of HR metrics
  • Team player
