BMC Recruitment Group are currently assisting an established business in the West Denton area who are looking to recruit an experienced Office Manager or strong bookkeeper on a full time permanent contract.

As an Office Manager, you will work directly with the directors in a stand alone role running of the accounts department and assisting with ad-hoc administrative duties in a varied role.

Hours can be flexible to cater for childcare - Monday to Friday
It is essential that you have experience working with CIS calculations.

Job Duties include:

  • Entering all sales/purchase invoices on Sage line 50.
  • Quarterly VAT returns and reconciliations liaison with HMRC when required.
  • Entering subcontractor invoices and making payments.
  • Updating weekly cash flow expectations.
  • CIS returns.
  • Reconciliation of business bank account.
  • All aspects of credit control, and retention payments.
  • Collating payroll information. Sending payslips and issuing payments to the bank.
  • Implement Sage accounting package to record all transactions and produce reports.
  • Engage with external accountants and established a good working relationship with them.
  • Become the 'go to' person for clients, subcontractors, and employees to resolve any issues they had payments, equipment, payroll etc.
