BMC Recruitment Group are currently assisting an established business in the West Denton area who are looking to recruit an experienced Office Manager or strong bookkeeper on a full time permanent contract.
As an Office Manager, you will work directly with the directors in a stand alone role running of the accounts department and assisting with ad-hoc administrative duties in a varied role.
Hours can be flexible to cater for childcare - Monday to FridayIt is essential that you have experience working with CIS calculations.
Job Duties include:
- Entering all sales/purchase invoices on Sage line 50.
- Quarterly VAT returns and reconciliations liaison with HMRC when required.
- Entering subcontractor invoices and making payments.
- Updating weekly cash flow expectations.
- CIS returns.
- Reconciliation of business bank account.
- All aspects of credit control, and retention payments.
- Collating payroll information. Sending payslips and issuing payments to the bank.
- Implement Sage accounting package to record all transactions and produce reports.
- Engage with external accountants and established a good working relationship with them.
- Become the 'go to' person for clients, subcontractors, and employees to resolve any issues they had payments, equipment, payroll etc.
