We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Audit Manager to join our team at the National Audit Office. As a Senior Audit Manager, you will play a key role in leading our teams to deliver high-quality work that supports improvements in the delivery of public services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead our teams to deliver high-quality work that supports improvements in the delivery of public services.
- Plan, research, and draft our value for money reports, working alongside sector or topic specialists, analysts, and qualified accountants.
- Apply strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to support our work.
- Develop and maintain expertise in one or more specialist areas through our networks (Hubs) across the office.
- Provide analytical insight and support to others outside of your team on your areas of expertise.
The National Audit Office is an independent public body that helps Parliament hold government to account for the way it uses public money. We examine the performance and costs of core public services across all areas of government, including health, education, justice, and overseas development.
