Role and Responsibility:
The Purchase Ledger Clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the Purchase Ledger. The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, managing IT systems, and overseeing payment processes. The Purchase Ledger Clerk will report directly to the Finance Director.

Purpose of the role:
  • Ensure smooth operation of the Purchase Ledger
  • Provide support in the day-to-day activities of the Head Office
  • Prepare and monitor monthly KPIs
  • Act as the main point of contact internally and externally
  • Conduct project work to enhance services and reduce costs

Main duties of the role:
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will:
  • Undertake administrative support tasks
  • Manage responsive repairs reports
  • Handle utility and Council tax bills
  • Process and authorize invoices efficiently
  • Maintain filing systems
  • Act as the expert on the Housing Management IT system
  • Support external audit processes
  • Prepare monthly KPIs for operational activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
