About the Role:
The Pro Bono Coordinator is an integral part of Latham's Attorney Development team.

This role will be responsible for supporting the global pro bono management team, while running monthly and ad hoc reports for the Pro Bono Committee to monitor and track the status of matters and deadlines, and driving the firm's pro bono participation goals.

This role will be located in our London office.

Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.


Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to pro bono data and information requests from communications, business development, practice groups, attorney development, and affinity group leaders
  • Maintaining and promoting the use of the pro bono Knowledge Management databases and project/case management platforms
  • Supporting the collection of closure letters, pro bono outcomes, and victory announcements for use in communications
  • Opening pro bono matters and facilitating initiatives (including crossborder, multijurisdictional pro bono matters and legal clinics) originated by the Pro Bono Committee
  • Maintaining intranet resources and listservs for the Pro Bono Committee and supporting the pro bono liaison network
  • Coordinating meetings, trainings and events for the Pro Bono Committee
  • Maintaining pro bono budgets

  • Demonstrate knowledge of facilitating access to justice
  • Exhibit welldeveloped, professional interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with people at all organisational levels of the firm
  • Display knowledge of internal decision makers, stakeholders, administrators, and other relevant contacts

  • A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent
  • Related administration experience
