We're looking for a skilled content creator and communicator to help deliver and enhance internal communications for our teams across London and the South East.


You'll develop and bring together content in a variety of formats, to support the wider reach of our communications to deskless staff and volunteers across the region.

What it's like to work here:Reporting to our Internal Communications Consultant, you'll connect with colleagues across the Trust to make things happen.


National Trust staff and volunteers do a huge variety of incredible work in amazing places - caring for buildings and collections, looking after landscapes, working in our cafes and shops and a whole lot more.

In this role you'll be part of the Trust's internal consultancy offering specialist skills and expertise. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team of advisors, and a network of internal communications professionals across the charity.


While you'll have a contracted office base there will be an opportunity to explore and agree hybrid working arrangements that strike the right balance for you and the Trust.


What you'll be doing:
You'll be involved in managing and developing internal communications channels for our staff and volunteers across the region. You'll collate and co-ordinate regional content for those channels; content that informs, engages and inspires colleagues.


As a confident video editor and writer, you'll create video and copy that resonates with our teams, especially those who are based at the places we care for and not working at a desk.

You'll be celebrating and sharing our team's contribution to our charitable purpose, looking after nature, beauty and history for everyone to enjoy.

  • confident creating and editing communication content, including video, photography and written copy.
- familiar with social media and internal intranets
- skilled in using IT software (including Microsoft Office
  • Adobe Creative Suite an advantage)
- able to work as part of a team
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- people-focused and skilled at building and maintaining strong working relationships
- organised, flexible and able to effectively prioritise tasks
