Are you looking for your next opportunity in a Senior Finance Managerial /Director role?

Juice is thrilled to be supporting a prominent communications company based on the Southern side of Bath, in their search for a Full/Part-Time Finance Manager to join their talented team.

This role is key within the business and will have regular interaction with the Senior Management team and the Founder.

A thorough knowledge of good statutory reporting is essential, alongside a good knowledge of accounting principles and tax implications.

You will get the opportunity to work with an experienced and high-performing team in a dynamic working environment with regular company social and team building events.

This role has a hybrid working model ensuring that you have access to a healthy work-life balance.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Collating and examining financial information, mainly through SAGE
  • Predicting future financial trends, analysing sales figures / buying trends
  • Contributing advice to the team and management on the future of the company
  • Producing financial reports,
  • Working collaboratively with external accountants
  • Processing PAYE, VAT, HMRC & TAX
  • Overseeing budgets, working with heads of department to increase ownership
  • Improving effective strategies that work to lessen financial risk
  • Analysing market trends and competitors
  • Overseeing one team member within the department, adding to their ongoing development and support

We'd love to see:

  • Qualified through experience
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualifications are desirable but not necessary
  • Previous experience working within SME businesses
  • Brilliant business awareness and the ability to tactfully challenge where appropriate
  • An ambitious individual who demonstrates an eagerness to learn
