London, Greater London, United Kingdom Lindus Health Full time

Our mission:

All new medicines need to undergo clinical trials to show they're safe and effective.

But
today's clinical trial infrastructure is stuck in the past, and the cost of developing new medicines has skyrocketed as a result.

Patients have to wait longer and pay more for new treatments.

We raised a $18m Series A round from great investors including Creandum, Peter Thiel and Firstminute Capital to power the next stage of our growth.

About the role:

We're looking for an exceptional Product Designer to help improve and expand our digital platform called Citrus, which we use to run clinical trials faster and with higher data quality from beginning to end.

You'll work closely with our Senior Product Designer, VP of Product, Head of Product and the Engineering team.

As Product Designer you will also work with users of our product, including our internal Clinical Operations team, as well as study participants, study sponsors, and clinical site staff.

About you:

We'd like to hear from you if

  • You have experience designing complex digital products for web platforms, using common design tools
  • You are comfortable with the endtoend design process from ideation to launch, and display great product thinking
  • You collaborate effectively with users, engineers, business stakeholders, and design peers, and are comfortable leading UX research
  • You want to improve the way the healthcare industry operates and how new health treatments are developed
  • You are excited to join a highgrowth, missiondriven, VCfunded startup
  • You have high agency and a bias for action.

Nice to haves:

  • Good understanding of Design Systems and accessibility standards
Even if your experiences and interests don't fully fit with our job description, we still encourage you to apply

What you'll focus on:

We're looking for someone who is comfortable with all phases of the product design process to deliver impact.

  • Product discovery: you will identify opportunities to improve our products by performing user research (user interviews, competitive analysis, usage data analysis), gather requirements and ideate potential solutions. For example, you will spend a lot of time talking to our research nurses to understand how we can make their workflow more efficient.
  • Validation of prototypes and feedback: you will validate solutions by developing and testing prototypes with users and analyse usage data and survey results. For example, you may run focus groups with doctors testing prototypes for a new safety monitoring feature.
  • Product delivery: you will collaborate with engineers and provide instructions and context so the solution can be built efficiently. You may spend time talking to engineers to understand technical constraints for a new feature, or doing a walk through of your design documentation.

What we offer:

  • Have an impact across all areas of our business and fix one of the world's most broken industries
  • Competitive salary, plus generous stock options
  • Unlimited holidays; everyone is encouraged to take off at least 28 days each year
  • We have an incredible office near London Bridge we encourage people to work 3 days per week from the office with a flexible working arrangement
  • Regular team events; recently we've been to Legoland, a Bake Off competition, and a Millwall FC home game (decided by popular vote)
  • Up to £1,000 per year towards courses and development
  • A new laptop as your main workstation and up to £500 towards setting up your home office
  • UK visa sponsorship if you're not already eligible to work in the UK

Our hiring process:

  • Initial conversation with our Talent Partner and portfolio review with our Senior Product Designer (45 minutes)
  • Design Assignment with our Senior Product Designer and VP of Product (60 minutes)
  • Culture and values interview with our cofounder / CTO and Head of Product (60 minutes)

We try to arrange for at-least one interview to be in-person so you can see our office and meet more members of the team.
