Prescient Group are supporting a leading retail organisation with Head Offices in Nottingham to recruit a talented and driven National Account Manager to manage key accounts in the North & South of England


As the National Account Manager you be responsible for developing and managing key accounts, driving sales growth, and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the retail sector.

This role requires a strategic thinker with over 5 years of experience in account management and a proven track record of success.

As a National Account Manager You Will Be Responsible For -Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships

Sales Strategy:
Implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets

Client Relationships:
Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction

Market Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape

Negotiation:
Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit and ensure long- term partnerships

Performance Monitoring:
Track and analyse account performance to identify areas for improvement and growth

Collaborative Efforts:
Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align strategies with business goals

Reporting:
Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market trends

Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the forecourt sector.

To Succeed In This Role You Will Need The Following Skills –

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years in account management, preferably with experience in the retail sector Proven Success:
Demonstrated success in managing key accounts and achieving sales targets

Sales Expertise:
Strong understanding of sales strategies, negotiation techniques, and market analysis

Analytical Skills:
Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions

Project Management:
Strong organizational and project management skills

Communication:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
