We are a new, 'up and coming' unitary council, who has just celebrated its 5 th birthday.
Whether you're an experienced Environmental Health Officer or graduating this summer, the role in our Housing Standards Team will enable you to take your career to the next level, whatever you want that to be.
You'll get the chance to work on a wide range of private sector housing topics; We have a track record of innovative service delivery, partnership working, digital solutions, project work and sensible, risk-based enforcement.
On the job support, training and other opportunities means you will develop personally and professionally, whether that means expanding your existing experience or completing your professional logbook towards EHORB registration and beyond.
You will have a Degree / MSC or Diploma in Environmental Health. You may have previous experience of working in an enforcement environment or housing related experience. However, we are also keen to hear from those graduating from CIEH accredited Environmental Health Degree/MSC course this summerThe post is full time, job share may be considered and is subject to agreement by the Service Manager Housing Standards.
This post has a travel requirement and you are required to have a vehicle (or transport deemed to be suitable by the council) available for use as required.
