HSE Recruitment is partnering with a renowned Global Engineering company in their search for a Head of Health, Safety and Environment (SHE- Construction focus).
- This is an exciting new role where you will spearhead the site redevelopment program due to ongoing and upcoming significant infrastructure projects on site.
Location: Barrow-in-Furness - A site-focused position with relocation assistance offered. If relocation is not feasible, a willingness to be in the local proximity weekly is considered.
Salary: £80,000 to £104,000, inclusive of executive perks, competitive pension, enhanced leave, stock incentive scheme, flexible work options, employee support, Cycle2work, discounts, and potential annual bonuses.
Reporting directly to the SHE Director, you will oversee a team of 8, providing strategic guidance in a hands-on capacity throughout the infrastructure endeavors on site.
- Managing relationships with principal contractors, supervising contractors' SHE performance during construction and renovation stages.
- Offering SHE management data, impacting project partnerships and client outcomes.
- Guiding internal stakeholders, shaping site development blueprints, and aligning SHE strategies with project objectives.
Required: proven experience in senior leadership roles in multi-site, intricate construction projects either as a contractor or on the client end.
Diploma Level certification in Health & Safety. Proficiency in embedding SHE into organizational protocols and functions.
