What you'll be doing:

What you'll have:

  • Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience of Adult Safeguarding at an operational and strategic level.
  • Experience of working across agencies at a Strategic level.
  • Experience: Extensive leadership experience within health or social care settings, with a track record of managing finance, risk, and performance.
  • Skills: Strong strategic thinking, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to delivering on the council's vision and values.
  • Knowledge: Expert understanding of legislative factors influencing safeguarding, best practices, and the priorities of Slough Borough Council.
