The post holder will:

  • To order appropriate equipment to support discharge planning.
  • To complete onward referrals to appropriate agencies.
  • To demonstrate Physical ability to carry out therapeutic handling without direct supervision. There is a frequent requirement to exert moderate physical effort for several short periods during the day.
  • Delegate and supervise Therapy Clinical Support Workers.
  • To carry own caseload.
  • To complete patient assessments and treatments in line with competencies
  • To liaise with other members of the MDT, families, carers and other agencies.
  • To issue equipment
  • To refer to onward services.
