Responsible to:

As Marketing Executive, you will plan, organise and execute all marketing campaigns across all events at the arena. This includes activities for the anchor tenant Leicester Riders and their charity the Leicester Riders Foundation.


You will be responsible for the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns, delivered on time and within budget, working with other staff.

You will manage the development of the Marketing Strategy and Implementation Plan, to achieve maximum performance and increase ticket sales by driving awareness and ensure promotional opportunities are developed and delivered in conjunction with others.


The purpose of this role includes providing seamless and exceptional customer and client services and be a central link between our venue and our audiences.

You will contribute to the effective running of our business, be passionate about the sporting and entertainment industry and provide marketing material across a wide variety of live events.


Role summary


Deliver the Marketing function, to raise awareness of the company and associated companies to make sure we target to the right audience.

Be creative to ensure a brand identity enhances our unique venue.

Planning and delivering cross-channel digital marketing campaigns in line with the event objectives.

Design, produce and distribute the promotional materials relating to the event.

Maintaining and updating websites.

Using digital channels and technologies to enhance the online presence of the business.

Managing and segmenting data, identifying gaps, developing new data sources and implementing a data build plan. Reporting weekly the trends of the data.

Continuous analysis and evaluation of marketing campaigns to improve performance.


Contribute to the budgeting, targeting, and forecasting processes for events, enabling data driven decision-making and foreseeing operational considerations to provide accurate projections.

Provide regular review of Marketing Dashboard developed, based on all marketing related initiatives.

Tracking effectiveness of campaigns and reporting findings weekly.

Assist in devising promotions to maximise ticket sales and group sales strategies.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing marketing initiatives. Using market research and analysis to direct marketing strategy and planning.
  • Production of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns. Reporting marketing and sales results weekly.
  • Gathering and understanding customer behaviour, engaging through effective campaigns and communication to build loyalty and retention of customers.
  • Strategic planning and evaluation, working closely with Sponsorship and Sales to establish marketing goals based on past performances and market forecasts.
  • Review current offerings and develop initiatives for new campaigns.
  • Research and analysis of market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitors and other relevant information to form marketing strategies.
  • Contribute to the budgeting, targeting, and forecasting processes for internal events, enabling datadriven decisionmaking and foreseeing operational considerations to provide accurate projections, and produce marketing materials.
  • Ensure accurate, timely and efficient reporting, reconciliation and accountability of Marketing strategies.
  • Plan marketing campaigns, market research to ensure we are reaching the target audience and driving Arena awareness.
  • Work collaboratively to ensure that the appropriate reporting and data analysis is in place to inform and identify sales and audience development strategies
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, including ticket agents, event promoters, and wider industry contacts in order to promote events and maximise ticket sales.
  • Keep abreast of current trends and best practice in Marketing operations.

General

  • To be responsible for identifying and undertaking training and personal development to meet business needs.
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties, commensurate with the level of the post so as to ensure the smooth running of the Arena and be a flexible resource to address changing/evolving needs of our businesses
  • Oversee secondees from Universities on specific marketing initiatives.
