As a Commercial Lead, this is what you'll be doing:

At QS, we are moving into a new stage of our transformation; focused on accelerating our business growth and transforming our engagement with students as we enable them to connect with and enrol at the right higher education institutions around the world.

In parallel, innovating and adapting our solutions for our clients to enable them to engage with and enrol the right students into their programmes.

A key component of this is defining and delivering a student centric digital strategy to disrupt and transform our existing assets into valuable components of a cohesive student-centric journey.

Allowing us to drive rapid business growth, as we enhance, evolve, and innovate our commercial propositions in parallel.

Role responsibilities:

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ownership of our revenue growth through our digital assets in 2023, through embedding our digital value proposition into our Reputation offering and Student Recruitment Offering.
  • Defining, delivering and iterating our GTM plans to deliver growth, through sales enablement and collaboration with institutional marketing.
  • Managing to, and evolving plans to ensure we achieve our leading and lagging indicators.
  • Collaborating and enabling opportunities to support the growth of digital solutions across all QS clients.
  • Identifying and launching evolutions and innovations to support this growth, e.g. working with agencies, lead APIs, and managed services solutions.
  • Leading on the communication of a clear value proposition, with supporting evidence and case studies, through collaboration with customer success and marketing teams
  • Defining our TM and QS China commercial strategies and collaborating with product to implement.
  • Defining and working closely with our Head of Product
  • Digital Transformation and product managers to deliver product enhancements to ensure we deliver ROI of our core revenue generating products, while managing clear plans to diagnose and improve performance where needed.
  • Ensuring core site performance meets target levels, to ensure stability and product performance.

  • Maintaining a strong understanding of client needs, student needs and competitor evolutions to identify and validate new revenue generating opportunities from our digital solutions to deliver 2023 growth and beyond. Identifying, validating, and scaling new opportunities in close collaboration with our sales and product transformation team as we build an endtoend student recruitment business and support clients and students with high quality connections and enrolments.
  • Leading on simplifying the sales process for digital and events sales; providing a less intensive, less transactional experience for our customers and enabling longer term, deeper relationships

Including:

  • Ensuring core site performance meets target levels, to ensure stability and product performance.
  • Delivery of product optimization roadmaps to support revenue achievement.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of client needs, student needs and competitor evolutions to identify and validate new revenue generating opportunities from our digital solutions to deliver 2023 growth and beyond.
