Test Analyst (Oracle implementation experience is desirable)nInitially 12 months FTC (paying up to £45K PA)nHybrid (Travel required to the client's Croydon office, 3 days a week)


We are seeking a Test Analyst to join our client's team and ensure the quality and reliability of software solutions for an Education company based in East Croydon.

This role will be instrumental in testing Oracle-based applications and systems to support critical business processes and initiatives.

You will provide test capability within newly formed Oracle Support Team.

Utilising analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate system, process and data changes to ensure they are free from defects, meet user needs and create an efficient end-user experience.


Key responsibilities include:

nWrite comprehensive test scripts and create and maintain test data within test environments as required.nAnalyse the results of testing to determine the root causes of any failures.nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design to ensure testing plans and scripts are fit for purpose.nEnsure all User Acceptance Testing meets user's objectives and success factors, supporting users execute testing as needed.nDocument and track all defects, errors and issues identified during testing.nEnsure that all tested changes meet the specified standards and end-user requirements.nAssist in the design and development of automated testing scripts.


Skills & Experience:

nProven experience in test analyst roles with sound knowledge of testing techniques.nStrong knowledge of writing test cases and scripts.nAbility to design and execute reusable test procedures, cases and scripts.nProblem solving and root cause identification skills.nAbility to acquire business knowledge of various functional components within Oracle.nDemonstrated ability to work independently within a project/support team environment.nIdeally knowledge of complex ERP Solutions such as Oracle, SAP etc and/or experience working with Finance and HR solutions.
