St Bartholomew's Medical Centre is located in Manzil Way, Cowley and is a well-established practice, currently with two other sites including Brookes University Medical Centre and St Bartholomew's, Lake Street.

We will be merging with Hollow Way Practice as of 1st April 2024. We are a training practice for GP trainees, nurses, midwives and pharmacy students. After 1st April 2024 We have in excess of 30,000 patients.


We have a talented and dedicated reception team who provide excellent support to our patients and we are looking for additional team members to join them.

Applicants should have excellent customer service skills be comfortable with change and innovation and have competent IT skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling telephone calls and signposting patients where necessary
  • Greeting, checking in and booking appointments for patients at the front desk
  • Dealing with repeat prescription requests
  • Responding to patient enquiries both in person and by telephone
  • Scanning, filing and photocopying documents Clerical support to clinicians and management.
