About the role

  • Lead and execute endtoend user research projects for internal digital tools used by our colleagues in commercial, supply chain and distribution centre areas, including planning, recruiting, conducting studies, analysing data, and delivering actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define research goals and translate them into research plans.
  • Build foundational knowledge of users and establish research processes for teams with previously limited exposure to UX research.
  • Analyse qualitative and quantitative research data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that inform design decisions and product improvements.
  • Present research findings and recommendations to crossfunctional teams and senior management, effectively communicating complex ideas and insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • From research findings, facilitate group ideation workshops to harness collective creativity and drive innovative solutions.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior researchers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the UX research team.

Skills and experience

  • Several years' experience as a UX researcher conducting user research in a fastpaced and collaborative environment, preferably within the ecommerce industry.
  • Extensive experience in conducting in person and remote research including interviews, usability tests, mapping user needs and user journeys and other research techniques.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present research findings to diverse audiences. Establish strong connections with business leaders to support adoption of the internal tools.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work with a wide range of product and business stakeholders, facilitating discussions & workshops, and supporting collaboration between product teams and internal users.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Nice to have: Previous experience of delivering UX research for internal digital tools, working closely with internal users. Building bridges and connections between product teams and internal users.
