Job Description Our new site in Minworth are now recruiting for a Transport Planner to join their friendly team on a full time permanent basis.


Salary:
£28,500 per annum.

Working hours :
Any 5 in 7 days, 10am-6pm.
As a Transport Planner you will overseethe day to day planning of the transport operation.

A highly motivated and driven individual, you will be experienced at working in a busy transport department, able to deal with day to day challenges and provide cost effective solutions to the customer.


Key Duties of a Transport Planner:
Subcontracting and planning orders out of multiple warehouse facilities and manufacturing sites across the UK.
Planning daily workload for a fleet: vehicles based on and off site.
Dealing with queries and issues by telephone, fax and email from our customers, sub-contract hauliers and warehousing sites.
Liaising with Traffic and Administration teams to ensure the highest standards of performance are maintained at all times.
