Working Pattern:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (9am till 3pm) occasional weekends or extra hours maybe required during busy periods

Report to:
Garden Centre Manager / Duty Manager


We are currently looking for an experienced
Goods Inwards/
Administration Assistant. Someone with high standards, a good work ethic and a good level of flexibility.

This will mainly be an office based position.

Main area's of responsibilities:

  • Customer Service
  • Goods in administration, booking in deliveries, process invoices using our EPOS system.

Main Duties/Tasks:

  • Support the team in the day to day running of the garden centre.
  • Book in deliveries on time and load onto our EPOS system
  • Create Purchase orders for incoming stock
  • Create claims for shortages and damages
  • Process invoices for payment each month intime for pay run
  • Operate the tills when required
  • Carry out other duties in other areas of the garden centre if your departments are quiet as directed by your line manager.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Good Communicator
  • Good Team Player, driven by 100% customer satisfaction
  • Flexible with working hours due to the nature of the business.
  • Health and Safety Conscious.
  • Computer literate using Microsoft word, excel. Training will be given on our epos system.
