About the Role

The Assistant General Manager post is an exciting opportunity to broaden and strengthen operational experience, and gain responsibility for a diverse service line of busy inpatient therapy specialties within an acute trust setting.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Assist with the day-to-day management of defined clinical areas and activities.
  2. Work in close partnership with the team to drive improvement, embed change and standardise practice based on local requirements, national guidelines and clinical best practice.
  3. Responsible for day-to-day operational management of the service line, as well as direct line management of the administrative team.
  4. Provide support in a complex and rapidly changing service ensuring best practice is met and that data quality and validation is delivered according to agreed timescales.

Key Skills and Qualifications
