Job Title: Inward Reinsurance Technician

Pro Insurance Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Inward Reinsurance Technician to join our Outsourcing Operations team. This permanent role is based at our UK office and offers a hybrid working model.

Main Responsibilities

  • Undertake technical accounting tasks for inward proportional and non-proportional treaties, including:
  • Processing broker and cedant technical accounts into client systems
  • Reviewing accuracy of accounts documentation and calculations
  • Processing claim and reserve updates
  • Ensuring tasks are completed efficiently by month-end deadlines
  • Following up on overdue/late accounts and escalating when necessary
  • Investigating and resolving challenging accounts
  • Providing client reporting

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong technical skills and ability to prioritize workload
  • Essential understanding of insurance and reinsurance principles
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role within the inward reinsurance market
  • Understanding of proportional treaty claim handling
  • Good understanding of bureau systems and procedures
  • Knowledge of property, casualty, and marine business classes
  • Understanding of SAP systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive and enthusiastic approach to work
