Our client is a multi faceted events venue and brewery In Kent who are looking for a Function & Weddings Coordinator to join their team on a full time basis. As the Functions & Weddings Coordinator you will be responsible for managing the event from the initial enquiry to the end to end planning and delivery of a variety events including weddings, concerts, comedy shows and private parties.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all incoming enquiries and drive new venue hire sales
- Liaise with the client throughout the whole process
- End to end coordination and management of events
- Manage all event logistics from ordering stock to liaising with external suppliers
- Manage the internal and external event diary
- Full event delivery on the day
- Create proposals, invoices and negotiate rates
- Take on duty supervisor responsibilities on event days on an ad hoc basis
Skills and Experience
- Experience in 360 event management within a hotel or events venue
- Experience in planning and delivering weddings is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- An eye for quality and detail
- Organised and efficient approach to their workload
- Ability to be flexible and work some evenings and weekends
- Positive and enthusiastic
