Job function:

To support the full time cleaning team to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the site and buildings to the highest possible standard.

This position is for Friday through to Monday including the weekend - covering room setups and general site cleanliness. With a potential for additional hours during busy times, e.g. school holidays, events etc.

Key tasks:

  • Carry out daily cleaning programme of all washroom facilities onsite, sweeping and washing all floors, cleaning sinks, toilets and urinals, windowsills, emptying bins and replenishing hand towel and soap dispensers.
  • Assist in room setups for functions, e.g. weddings, corporates, birthday parties, school visits. The ability to help move tables and chairs is essential.
  • Clean, dust, wash floors in all function rooms as dictated by room bookings and as advised by the Site Team Supervisor.
  • Maintain cleaning programme of attraction buildings in rotation, including washing/vacuuming floors, removal of all cobwebs, cleaning display cabinets, polishing of brass plaques and signs.
  • Maintain adequate stock of cleaning products, dispenser refills, bin liners, cleaning utensils, and advise Operations Manager of any shortages for reordering.
  • Report any problems, damage or breakages as soon as identified.
  • Undertake the litter picking around the entire site.
  • Adhere to the appropriate health and safety procedures, standards of staff behaviour and dress codes as stipulated by the companies management.
  • Undertake any other duties as required by the company with a view to improving guest experience.

Job Type:

Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary:
£6.83-£9.50 per hour
