The School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences is seeking to appoint three full time, fixed term Teaching Fellow's to its department of Philosophy.


The Opportunity:


The successful post holders will provide high quality teaching delivery and assessment support at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Philosophy.


They will actively contribute to the overall intellectual environment of the School play a collegiate role in the overall functioning of the Philosophy Department.

  • Feminist Philosophy
  • Political Philosophy Philosophy of Technology

If you are currently in the process of completing your studies/PhD programme please note any relevant timescales in your cover letter and/or CV.

**Your skills and attributes for success: - A postgraduate degree in Philosophy field(s) noted with relevant post-graduate research and/or teaching experience.

  • The ability to teach in other areas would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience in design and delivery of effective undergraduate university teaching and supervision (experience with dissertation supervision at postgraduate level would also be desirable).
  • Research experience with evidence of outstanding potential. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
