Role & Responsibilities:

  • Record, edit, mix, and master audio for music, film, television, podcasts, and other multimedia projects.
  • Create and implement sound effects, ambient sounds, and other audio elements.
  • Operate and maintain audio equipment like microphones, mixing consoles, and recording devices.
  • Troubleshoot audio issues during recording sessions and live events.
  • Collaborate with producers, directors, musicians, and team members for desired audio results.
  • Ensure audio content meets technical and creative standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of audio sessions and equipment used.
  • Stay updated on latest audio technologies and suggest improvements.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of audio engineering experience with a diverse portfolio.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality audio.
  • Experience with data in MS Excel or MYSQL databases.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of acoustics, signal flow, and audio processing.

Package:

  • Competitive day rate - £330-400pd PAYE
  • Hybrid working model - 3 days onsite in Cambridge
  • Initial 12-month contract with potential for extension
