The Wayleave Delivery Manager will deliver completed wayleaves for the company as part of a managed service on behalf of our customers to required timelines and standards.
To be the principle point of contact, responsible for procuring wayleave agreements on behalf of our customers by negotiating and coordinating wayleave documentation, managing dependencies and interfaces including multiple fibre providers and landlord relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
DeliverynTo provide a trusted interface with other areas of the business including delivery, legal and finance to support seamless commercial management of the wayleaves escalation process.
To instruct and work with legal team, external agents and solicitors via concise written/verbal instructions to expedite completion of site agreements and wayleave agreements.
Manage multiple external supplier relationships to assist with delivery of new sites, lease renewals, rent reviews and disputes and ensure wayleaves are completed on time to enable customers to meet their transmission targets.nWayleave NegotiationnManage complex negotiations with landlords for improved /altered wayleave rights whilst maintaining full compliance with statutory requirements relating to relevant legislation.nPerformancenManage work within the companies guidelines.nProblem SolvingnTo identify and independently resolve day to day problems in securing wayleaves via an ability to think outside the box, drawing on current legislation and in depth knowledge and processes and to work on own initiative to achieve commercially prudent outcomes.nCompliance and SecuritynTo support and contribute actively to health and safety, environmental, business continuity and information security arrangements that meets our obligations to our customers.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience (technical, managerial, industry)nProven experience and track record in fibre wayleave delivery.
Experience negotiating multiple mobile operator property agreements, with good understanding of how to interpret rights for wayleaves.nExperience of being within a large-scale infrastructure build or network deployment project within telecomsnEducation level / Qualifications (professional, vocational)nEducated to Degree level in a related subject or equivalent vocational experience gained through working in the telecoms industry.
