About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Bottomline. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery and adoption of our solutions for high-value customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and delivery of customer projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality results.
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables, working closely with customers and stakeholders.
  • Implement best practices, techniques, and tools for project planning and management, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Provide domain and subject matter expertise to customers, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Maintain customer interaction and management, including sponsors, stakeholders, and users, to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Generate customer-facing documentation, including project plans and management records, to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Provide timely and accurate internal status reports, ensuring stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Support the Presales team as a key partner, contributing to the development of sales strategies and customer engagement.
  • Forecast and deliver against financial targets, aligned to project deliverables, to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Build and maintain an excellent level of knowledge of Bottomline solutions and the business problems they solve, to provide expert guidance and support.
  • Participate in new product take-on and roll-out programs, contributing to project management, documentation, technical knowledge base, and training of team members.
Requirements
  • Working experience within a project office or project management role.
  • Understanding of project management or consultancy principles.
  • Working knowledge of Agile, PRINCE2, or similar methodologies.
  • Proven track record of managing high-value projects to conclusion, while managing stakeholders and expectations.
  • Aptitude for critical thinking and problem-solving, with excellent organizational skills.
  • Good 'people skills' for building relationships with colleagues and customers at all levels.
  • Calmness under pressure, with the ability to motivate and lead teams.
  • Good commercial awareness, with a focus on driving business growth and profitability.
