Adoption Tees Valley is the Regional Adoption Agency, covering the five Tees Valley Local Authority areas. We are responsible for completing adoption assessments, matching and linking children with adoptive families and providing outstanding adoption support. We have been hugely successful in finding families for children and have helped more siblings be placed together, more older children and children who have additional needs to be adopted. We continue to build our adoption support service and are committed to adoption support for all children and families from the time the child moves into the family.

To be considered for interview, you will:

A salary from £35,745 to £41,418 per annum (full time rates) 27 days annual leave per year rising to 32 with 5 years service. Ability to purchase additional leave is also available Hybrid working with some working from home available alongside working within the office in Stockton Generous Pension Scheme through the LGPS with ability to pay extra and plan for retirement Access to a number of employee benefits including salary sacrifice Car Lease Scheme, discounts at high street and online retailers, employee assistance programme, physiotherapy and more. The Council has a visa sponsorship license and is therefore able to offer certificates of sponsorship to non-UK residents through the skilled-worker route for this role. In order to qualify for this, applicants must be undertaking their qualification in the UK or have completed it in the UK, and require sponsorship. Please note that the certificate of sponsorship alone is not a visa: an individual will still need to apply for and receive their visa to have the Right to Work in the UK.
