Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our Adolescent and Exploitation Team in Stockton on Tees. As a Social Worker in this role, you will be responsible for working with vulnerable children and young people who are at risk of exploitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage cases of child exploitation, working closely with other agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
- Develop and implement effective plans to support children and young people who are at risk of exploitation, including providing guidance and support to families and carers.
- Work closely with other teams and agencies to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to addressing child exploitation.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to child exploitation.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with a recognized Social Work qualification (Social Work Degree or Diploma in Social Work) and full Social Work England registration.
- Significant experience in a similar role, working with vulnerable children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, families, and other professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services to children and families.
