Our client, an RCVS accredited mixed animal practice nestled in the picturesque countryside on the Shropshire/Cheshire/Staffordshire border, is seeking a dedicated Large Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their dynamic team.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the heart of farming life, providing exceptional veterinary care to a diverse range of clientele.

From ambulatory farm calls to consultations with dairy, beef, and sheep farmers, your days will be filled with varied and rewarding challenges.

More than just treating sick animals, you'll engage with farmers to promote proactive health strategies, ensuring the long-term well-being of their livestock.

As a predominantly dairy-focused practice, you'll have access to state-of-the-art software and equipment, including Interherd, Total Vet, Easiscan, and EEJ, as well as a comprehensive in-house lab.

Whether working with large dairy herds, beef and sheep clients, or smallholders, you'll be supported by a team of experienced veterinary professionals and dedicated administrative staff.

The Rota:

  • Full time, Part time or flexible rota
