Client Manager

Salary target:
competitive salary depending on experience, technical ability; recent audit experience preferred

  • Looking after a portfolio of clients with responsibility for the completion of VAT returns /management accounts & statutory accounts in a timely manner
  • Review of work of juniors/semi seniors by
  • Delegating work to junior staff
  • Reviewing first draft and offering feedback to junior staff
  • Liaising with clients & senior managers / directors to resolve issues
  • Finalising the work for filing with HMRC or Companies House
  • Allocating time to client work
  • Reviewing billing schedules and advising Senior Account Managers/Directors on cost overruns/additional billing opportunities
The firm uses
Xero, Sage Line 50, and MS Officesoftware, so excellent working knowledge of these systems is required. Working knowledge of
Iris and/or CCHis also preferred.


The firm strives to offer a personal and friendly approach to their clients and is looking for someone to join the team who will be able to provide this level of service.

To be considered for the role you must have recent client-facing experience in an accountancy practice.
