Position: Deputy Children's Care ManagerLocation: SW16, NorburySalary: 26-32k pa

Job Type: PermanentWorking Hours: Early, Late or Night shift

Responsibilities as a Deputy Children's Care Home Manager:

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the care home, supporting the Care Manager
  • Supervise and coordinate care staff, ensuring the delivery of person-centred care
  • Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of care team members
  • Conduct regular assessments of resident's needs and collaborate on care plans
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory standards and policies
  • Handle administrative tasks, including resident records, scheduling, and reporting
  • Foster a positive and inclusive working environment for staff and residents
  • Act as a liaison between residents, families, and external healthcare professionals
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide on-call support as required

Requirements:

  • minimum of 1 year of experience in a senior care role in a children's unit
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care (NVQ Level 4/5 or equivalent)
