Position: Deputy Children's Care ManagerLocation: SW16, NorburySalary: 26-32k pa
Job Type: PermanentWorking Hours: Early, Late or Night shift
Responsibilities as a Deputy Children's Care Home Manager:
- Assist in the day-to-day management of the care home, supporting the Care Manager
- Supervise and coordinate care staff, ensuring the delivery of person-centred care
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of care team members
- Conduct regular assessments of resident's needs and collaborate on care plans
- Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory standards and policies
- Handle administrative tasks, including resident records, scheduling, and reporting
- Foster a positive and inclusive working environment for staff and residents
- Act as a liaison between residents, families, and external healthcare professionals
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
- Provide on-call support as required
Requirements:
- minimum of 1 year of experience in a senior care role in a children's unit
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care (NVQ Level 4/5 or equivalent)
