Job Type
Full Time - 35 hours per week working 5 days from 7

Salary
£10.42 per hour plus OTE bonus scheme and generous staff discount

Responsible to
Warehouse Manager

Role Summary

  • To work flexibly, undertaking warehouse and such other activities to maximise sales, business efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Warehouse management and colleagues

Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities

  • Taking delivery of goods and supplies
  • Checking for damaged or missing items
  • Storing and moving stock around by hand, using mechanical aids or forklift truck
  • Picking orders to dispatch to the retail store
  • Advising on stock counts
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilisation
  • Handling complaints or passing them to a manager
  • Assisting the company and colleagues by carrying out such duties away from usual areas of work as may reasonably be required
  • Prepared to carry out arduous work, either physical or mental
  • Willing to take on reasonable additional responsibility as necessary

Experience

  • Previous warehouse experience required

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
