Our Arbroath site is a modern processing facility built to the highest food standards and in which our highly skilled team of filleters, curers, smokers, and packers carry out many of the processes by hand.

Job Overview:
The purpose of the role is to identify, create and deliver training programme, consisting of functional, compliance and on-the-job training and to ensure all our operatives have the relevant skills and knowledge to carry out their duties.
Main Responsibilities:
Work with colleagues across functions to agree training needs
In partnership with other functions develop and deliver training including creating and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment and relevant processes
Verifying trainee competence and confidence using variety of tools
Deliver Induction trainings to all new employees and supporting new starters as required
Record all training activity accurately, including site Training Matrix and training files
Ensure online training platform is up to date and training is assigned accurately
Contribute and participate in internal and customer audits as required.
Incorporate customer Code of Practice and other compliance standards into all training materials
Support apprenticeship programmes and engagement activities.
Oversee, support and manage Department Trainers.
Report training statistics.
Perform any other tasks that may be reasonably requested by the company.
Excellent communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
High level of computer literacy including presentation skills.
Effective planning, time management and organisational skills.
Ability to work with pace and agility.
Ability to build effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
