**Shift Pattern**:Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Our Buckie and Arbroath sites are modern processing facilities built to the highest food standards and in which our highly skilled team of salmon filleters, curers, smokers, and packers carry out many of the processes by hand.

**Job Overview**:
The purpose of the role is to identify, create and deliver training programme, consisting of functional, compliance and on-the-job training and to ensure all our operatives have the relevant skills and knowledge to carry out their duties.
**Main Responsibilities**:
Work with colleagues across functions to agree training priorities by department.
Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for Lossie Seafoods products, processes, equipment and CCPs.
Ensure SOPs are reviewed and authorised in line with agreed processes.
Deliver shop floor training on SOPs and QPs (Quality Procedures), verifying trainee competence and confidence.
Facilitate and / or support other operative training programmes on topics including food safety and quality.
Record all training activity accurately, including site Training Matrix
Ensure online training platform is up to date and training is assigned accurately.
Contribute and participate in internal and customer audits as required.
Deliver Induction trainings to all new employees.
Incorporate customer Code of Practice and other compliance standards into all training materials.
Support apprenticeship programmes and engagement activities.
Oversee, support and manage Department Trainers.
Report training statistics.
Perform any other tasks that may be reasonably requested by the company.
Excellent communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
High level of computer literacy including presentation skills.
Effective planning, time management and organisational skills.
Ability to work with pace and agility.
Ability to build effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
