Teacher of Support for Learning

- Teach assigned classes, groups or individuals
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster positive behavior
- Ensure pupils' Health and Safety
- To help develop and implement effective identification and assessment procedures for students with additional support needs
- Develop or contribute to teaching and assessment materials focusing on students with additional support needs
- Utilize assessment results to assess and enhance teaching quality, as well as students' learning and achievements
- Establish and uphold targets for students as needed
- Assist in preparing students for internal and external evaluations as required
- Support in the organization of internal and external assessments as needed
- Engage with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and ongoing additional support requirements
- Contribute to the smooth operation of a stage/department/subject area
- Participate in Improvement Planning, assessment, and quality assurance processes
- Plan, create, and document suitable assignments for students, both independently and in collaboration with teachers
- Offer advice and support to students regarding educational matters
- Communicate and review students' progress with their parents and relevant authorities responsible for children's welfare
- Participate in delivering relevant therapeutic activities for students
- Identify and assess resources suitable for meeting the additional support needs of individual students
- Consult and provide guidance on developing personalized educational programs and complying with legislative obligations related to additional support needs
