French Speaking Finance Manager - Entertainment - London


We are looking for a French Speaking Finance Manager to join a growing TV/Film animation business based in the heart of London.

This role is a very hands on position looking after all transactional finance, month end management accounting and managing asmall team of junior finance members.


Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the transactional finance function for the UK & France: AP, AP, Fixed assets, VAT and Payroll tax reporting, bank recs and credit card management
  • Managing a Parttime Accounts Assistant and a full time Payroll & Finance Admin Coordinator
  • Preparing and reconciling the monthly payrolls for the UK & France main contract for both country's outsourced payroll providers
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts: balance sheet recs, accruals, prepayments, salary control accounts etc
  • Monthly forecasting & budgeting / departmental overhead cost analysis with the support departments
  • Managing utilities, company insurance, intercompany accounts
  • Bank reconciliations and cash forecasting of 2 UK and 1 French bank accounts
  • Point of contact for all expenses, general purchasing queries and business surveys
  • Other ad hoc duties as may reasonably be required

Key skills:

  • Qualified/Newly qualified or Finalist ACCA/CIMA
  • Prior experience working in a hands on role involving management accounts and transactional duties
  • Fluency in the French language is essential
  • An understanding of both UK and French GAAP would be highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and business partnering skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets skills
  • Previous experience working in the media, entertainment or creative industries would be beneficial
  • Demonstrates a keen interest for the Film/TV industry
